Welcome to Nexon Group

Nexon SCM Group is an established family-owned business specialising in distributing cleaning, hygiene and janitorial products to the professional user across England, Scotland and Wales. The company offers quality brands backed by the highest standards of customer service.

Established over 50 years ago as the partnership ‘Green of Lincoln’ Nexon rebranded in 2015, but remains as a family-owned independent company with a strong family business ethic. Yes, we supply products! BUT we know our customers needs. We focus on providing the complete solution including training, budget management tools, advanced reporting, technical support, our own delivery services and much more!

Each new customer is a fresh opportunity for us, we work on bespoke solutions for all our clients to help them with the current challenges they face. Our flexible and creative approach enables us to provide a high standard of service, this is backed by our knowledge, advice and technical support.

1960

Where we Began

Our company began in 1964 and was started by Mr Ted Green, he left the Hospital service to become the area distributor and stockist of Bowater Scott tissue products, supplying industry and medical users in the Lincolnshire area. The company at this stage was named 'Green of Lincoln', Catering disposables were added to the firm’s range in the late 1960’s.

Expanding our Range

During the 1970's the company expanded it's range to include cleaning fluids and powders, broadening the firm’s offering to customers.

Growing

The firm saw steady growth year on year, and in the 1980’s a specialist range of healthcare disposable products were taken on to service private Nursing Homes. At the same time the firm expanded its delivery area serving customers further afield in addition to its Lincolnshire customer base.

Increasing our Offering

The 1990’s saw continued growth, and by the turn of the century the firm was establishing itself as a national supplier to the Healthcare, Hospitality, Food Industry, Educational and Industrial markets.

Clen Cleaning Products

Green of Lincoln continued to grow, moving into the 3rd generation of the family with ownership and management. In 2005 the company launched its first own brand Clen bringing an effective range of cleaning chemicals to the market.

Company Rebrand

In 2015 as a nationally recognised supplier of cleaning, hygiene and medical products we rebranded to Nexon Group. The rebrand was purely a development project to support our national offering of the company and symbolised the next generation of the company moving on and going forward. Move to new Premises

Another big year, as we moved to brand new purpose built offices in Lincolnshire, just below the practise airspace of the famous Red Arrows at RAF Scampton. Modern, quality offices all to help provide the team with an enjoyable, collaborative work environment. A great event, when the building was officially opened by the leader of the local Parish Council in Nettleham, Lincolnshire. Moving our distribution to a new 40,000 square foot extra high distribution centre, has helped to streamline our picking and distribution and paves the way for the business growth ahead.

Focus on a Customer Care Programme

During 2017, Nexon advanced dramatically in our Customer Care Programmes, vastly extending our team of CCE’s (Client Care Executives). Ask us more about our monthly compliance visits to our customers. Helping our customers with Stock Management solutions, Cleaning Audits, Compliance, Dispenser Maintenance, Installations, Product Training and excellent Reporting. Nexon Group continuing to be a key strategic Partner with its customers, not just a supplier! Exhibiting at the London Excel Cleaning Show was a fantastic opportunity to meet with new and existing clients, and launch more innovative products for the Cleaning industry.

Strength to Strength!

Over the last two years, Nexon Group has grown extensively, now supplying products and services to many of the largest groups across England, Scotland & Wales. High profile clients such as Care UK, BUPA, OSJCT, are all now enjoying the extensive and integral partnership with Nexon Group throughout all their facilities. More Innovation is on its way!
